User Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of the personal data Minion stores about you, including data we receive when you interact with one of our AI assistants through Meta platforms (WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram) and other messaging channels.

1. What data we store

When you use a Minion assistant through a Meta channel, we store:

  • Your platform identifier (WhatsApp user ID, Messenger Page-Scoped ID, or Instagram ID) and your display name, if available
  • The content of the messages you exchange with the assistant, to maintain conversation context
  • Session metadata (timestamps, which assistant replied, conversation status)

2. How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of these methods:

Option A — From Facebook / Instagram (automatic)

If you reached us through Meta, you can remove the app's access and request data deletion from your account:

  • Go to Settings → Apps and Websites on Facebook (or Settings → Apps and Websites on Instagram).
  • Select the Minion app and choose Remove.
  • Meta will automatically send us a data deletion request, and we will process the deletion.

Option B — Contact us directly

Send us a request and we will delete your data manually:

To help us locate your data, include the channel you used (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, etc.) and the phone number or username you messaged us from. You do not need a Minion account to request deletion.

Timeline: we process deletion requests within a maximum of 30 days. Once completed, the associated data is permanently removed from our databases and file storage. We retain only the minimal records required by law.

3. What gets deleted

  • The conversation history and message content linked to your identifier
  • Your channel identifier and display name
  • Any files you sent through the channel
  • The associated session metadata

4. Confirmation

When the request arrives through Meta, you will receive a confirmation code and can check the status of your request at any time on our deletion status page. If you contacted us directly, we will confirm through the same channel once the deletion is complete.
